Summary:
RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance and RSA
IMG contain fixes for multiple security vulnerabilities that could potentially
be exploited by malicious users to compromise an affected system.
Details:
Arbitrary File Upload Vulnerability (CVE-2017-8004)
The RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance and
RSA IMG products allow an application administrator to upload arbitrary files
that may potentially contain a malicious code. The malicious file could be then
executed on the affected system with the privileges of the user the application
is running under.

Multiple Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities (CVE-2017-8005)
The RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance and
RSA IMG products are affected by multiple stored cross-site scripting
vulnerabilities. Remote authenticated malicious users could potentially inject
arbitrary HTML code to the application.
CVSSv3 Base Score: 5.4 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N)
Recommendation:
The following RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, RSA Via Lifecycle and
Governance and RSA IMG releases contain resolutions to these vulnerabilities:
*RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle 7.0.2: 7.0.2 P01 or later
*RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle 7.0.1: 7.0.1 P03 or later
*RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance 7.0: Requires upgrading to 7.0.1 P03 or later
*RSA Identity Management and Governance 6.9.1: 6.9.1 P23 or later (Fix for
CVE-2017-8004 requires update to 7.0.1 P03 or later)
RSA recommends all customers upgrade at the earliest opportunity.
